Standard

The technology industry is poised for another special year in 2015. New products will actually emerge which once seemed like fantasy and also more mature technology industries will start to consolidate.

“This year looks as if it is going to be a bang-up year in terms of technology,” said Issa Asad, a South Florida entrepreneur with experience since 1996. Asad is also the CEO of Q Link Wireless, LLC, and Quadrant Holdings, LLC, both located in Dania, Florida. The following are the top 5 new technology products of 2015 according to Issa Asad.

1. Windows 10

Windows 8 was one of the worst operating system disasters in the history of the company. Users hated the clunky and modular desktop interface, and the lack of start menu. However, 2015 could absolutely be a banner year for the Microsoft Company, in part due to the release of Windows 10. Not that the new Windows will be very perfect but as it looks, it shows that it will be a very good operating system that will fix most of the Windows 8’s problems. This is the reason as to why Windows 10 is one of the top five best technology products to look forward to in the year 2015 according to Issa Asad.

2. Samsung Galaxy S6

It’s a fact that Samsung’s Galaxy S line of smartphones has absolutely given the iPhone a good run for its money. Galaxy line could end up using a good refresh in this year and for sure the S6 will be the one to perform it. Some of the rumors suggest that Samsung has launched a certain project known as Project Zero in order to rethink the phone. It is quite difficult to understand what this means but it is expected to produce a thinner, lighter phone that has got a large screen, better processor and powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop and many other special features.

3. Microsoft Surface Mini

This could be a longshot simply because Microsoft is believed to have worked on a Surface Mini and then also pulled the plug in the year 2014. However, rumors keep resurfacing concerning the Mini going live in 2015. Microsoft’s Surface tablets have a big task going for them whereby only one thing going against them, which is their high price. In case the Microsoft prices the Mini fairly, it could definitely be a huge winner.

Some of the specs of the Microsoft Surface Mini include:

  • An 8 inch screen, 1GB of RAM, Qualcomm processor and windows RT 8.1.
  • Surface Mini will also have USB support and a microSD card slot. In addition, it will come with the pen that is shipped with the Surface Pro 3.
  • When it comes to its physical appearance, it actually looks much like the Surface Pro 3, though in a smaller form factor. In fact, it will supposedly copy the design of the larger 10.6 inches models and also use the same type of materials in its design.

4. 12-inch iPads and MacBook Air

If at all the rumors are right, Apple looks to have a special thing for the 12-inch screens. Some rumors suggest that Apple will release an iPad that will be having a 12-inch screen while others suggest that the company will release a 12-inch MacBook Air that will have a Retina screen. Some of the specs of the 12-inch MacBook Air include:

  • Higher resolution display
  • Will run on the intel chip but not Apple-based A8 processor
  • Thinner, lighter than the 11-inch MacBook Air, a new clamshell design
  • 12-inch screen
  • It will also redefine laptop computing

5. Apple Watch

Expect Apple Watch to launch this year. Apple products are actually what many people want and not what they need. The Apple Watch will come in three different styles: the Apple Watch Sport, an entry-level Apple Watch and a slightly pricier gold Apple Watch Edition. Each version will depend on the consumers’ preferences.
