Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 to Debut in November, 2012?

Those who are curious to get hold of Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone 8, they might have to bide their time till November. Latest reports are suggesting that Window Phone 8 will make its debut in November, this year.

This revelation was brought to attention by Mary Jo Foley( ZDNet source). However Microsoft chooses to remain tight-lipped on this latest report. These new reports which have surfaced are, failed to mention an exact Windows Phone 8 release date.

It is known to all by now that Apple’s upcoming iphone 5 is scheduled for October release which indicates that Windows phone will arrive in the market after Apple rolls out its new iphone. This indicates that coming fall; Microsoft is going to be a hive of activity as during that time besides windows phone 8, Microsoft Surface RT tablet, Windows server 2012 will also be making their debuts respectively.

The cheering news is that few existing devices of Windows Phone will be getting a facelift as Microsoft will be offering Windows Phone 7.8, which is basically a minimal version of upcoming Windows Phone 8. This Windows Phone 7.8 version will also be featuring brand new Start menu screen of Windows Phone 8.

Though Nokia has revealed that Windows Phone 7.8 is on the cards for devices falling in Lumia brand category but since this announcement, Nokia hasn’t taken any action.

Few leading US carriers like Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile and US Cellular have already revealed that they will begin offering windows Phone 8 devices soon after its launch. As far as Hardware is concerned then leading tech-companies like Samsung, Nokia, HTC and Huawei will be producing hardware for Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone 8.

Anticipated Windows Phone 8 Features are going to include dual-core processors, two options regarding screen resolutions including 800*480, 1280×768 along with 720 p, NFC technology, Nokia maps, additional storage to support removable MicroSD Cards.
