Social media can be very hard to conquer, especially when you’re quickly trying to build a presence online.

Here, Issa Asad Gives 6 New Twitter Tips and Tricks:
1. Do your research
Being successful on Twitter is not all about Tweeting, it’s about checking out your competition and seeing what they are doing to make Twitter work for them, and mimicking this so your account can do just as well.
Look out for trending topics, how they structure tweets, how often they respond to other people and anything else you think might be helping them get an edge.
Once you’ve got a good idea of the things they’re doing differently, then it’s time to implement and test to see if what’s working for them and can work for you too.
2. Provide value
Give off immense free value in your tweets.
People LOVE free stuff, especially when it’s information that can help solve a problem they may be having.
This will make them much more inclined to buy your products/services in the future.
Why is this? Well, since they’ve gotten so much value from your free content, they are going to have trust in your paid products/services, since this logically will provide awesome value too.
3. Ask questions
Everyone on the planet wants to be valued, this especially goes for people’s opinions.
Because of this, it’s going to be a very good idea to ask questions to your audience.
It could even be something as minimal as ow is your day going’ but by doing this you show your care about your audience; showing that they are not just another number on the screen for you.
Doing so will make them feel much more connected with you than they will from a competitor who isn’t getting as personal as you are.
4. Reply to EVERYONE
The same logic that has gone into asking questions to your audience, so they can feel valued, you’ll want to carry this thinking over when people respond to your tweets – reply to all of them!
You don’t have to write an essay in response, a simple emoji can work here, just remember to reply to everyone (or at least as many people as you can).
This will improve engagement, which is not only something that the Twitter algorithm loves but will also make people want to reply to your account in the future.
5. Don’t forget to post pictures
These days, people are reading less and watching more – because of this, images are one of the ways you can increase your visibility on people’s timelines, especially if it’s something that they’re interested in.
6. Don’t act like a business (even if you are one)
Twitter offers you a platform where you can get personal with your audience and your future customers, you don’t want to act like a business with all the boring sales talk clogging up their timeline. They’ll get annoyed and unfollow your account.
Instead, act like a friend would; supply free information that’s going to help them with their problems and have a little fun with them – memes can go a long way!
